HootinNHollerin, in No Frills PCB Brings USB-C Power To The Breadboard

Very cool. Open source too

Mr_Dr_Oink, in Microsoft Bing is trying to spoof Google UI when people search Google.com

Remember when they proved that bing was just providing google search results?

Like it straight up sent your search query to google search and fed back the results in the bing skin.

finitebanjo, in Dell kills the XPS brand

Something I think is a lot more interesting than them changing names of product lines is that almost all Dells ship with an OEM version of windows which reaches EoL faster, like 5 years sooner, and is more expensive to get a replacement disk image.

I had a tower about 10 years ago that I converted into a dinky little Linux Server, it worked really well all things considered.

kalleboo, in Dell kills the XPS brand

replacing them with three main product lines: Dell (yes, just Dell), Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max.

PC/Android companies not trying to blatantly rip off Apple challenge: Impossible

jaxiiruff, in Microsoft Bing is trying to spoof Google UI when people search Google.com

Microsoft is a pathetic little husk of a company, what a corny and predatory practice that not even google cares to do if you search other search engines.

Usernameblankface, in would you buy a compact laptop that has spacebar touch sensitivity and allows you to adjust input sensitivity, giving it dual purpose (a spacebar and a mouse)+ it has integrated A5 printer in it?
@Usernameblankface@lemmy.world avatar

No.

But I would immediately buy a new laptop with a track ball and mouse buttons like this one

(Screenshot to follow in an edit)

sugar_in_your_tea,

Nice! That seems like it would rival the TrackPoint for me.

Soulifix, in Dana White, John Elkann and Charlie Songhurst to Join Meta Board of Directors | Meta

Okay, lol. I don't think they're there to help FB, Instagram or WhatsApp but to get on Zuck's payroll. Whatever.

atrielienz, in when can we expect level 4 self driving to be commercialized? is it near (1-2 years away)?

When they can exit a roundabout competently.

whodatdair, in Not even OpenAI's $200/mo ChatGPT Pro plan can turn a profit

Fuckin LLM bubble needs to burst already. I want some crazy compute cards to play with.

Also, who knew the only people who would pay 2400/yr for access would bebe the ones who plan to make hundreds of queries per day. What do like, people try to think about value for money before they buy stuff?! What are you all, NOT a filthy rich?!

dual_sport_dork, in Dell kills the XPS brand
